International Gateways

International Gateways^® is an online community promoting Colorado’s multicultural events, resources, and services.

For this site I have:

Designed and developed a standards based website with usability and accessibility at the center.
Helped with creating the web content and suggested the best way to structure and present the content to make it user friendly.
Suggested the best way to organize the site for easy navigation.
Created valid and clean markup for forward compatibility.
Created an Easy to use Admin Section to manage all the dynamic content of the site.

Some of the major site features include:

Directory Listings for Individuals, Business and Organizations
Visitor submitted Events Calendar and Announcements
eCommunity with forums, blog and visitor submitted Articles
Extensive Resources from local to International Level

And in general lot of useful and interesting information through out the site with lots to read and browse.

Free Open Source Programs

For the above mentioned features and more, along with my own work, I have also used these Free Open Source Programs. Some of them I have extensively customized and others I have moderately customized the look and feel to fit the site needs and blend with the rest of the pages.
