About me
My name is Hima Amperayani and I am a freelance web designer and developer living in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada.
I love working with new media and learned most of what I do from the comfort of my own home. I enjoy learning and experimenting with new techniques whenever I get a chance.
After taking a 2 month diploma course in New Media Design in a nearby Institute a few years back, I began working on small websites for friends and family at first and then started getting new clients through referrals. I kept learning new skills as the size of the projects increased mainly through online tutorials, articles, forums, E–Seminars and numerous wonderful books and of course Lynda.com.
About a year or so ago, I have started to work with Drupal 6 and became an instant fan. Since than I have created more than 3 websites using it and can't seem to get enough of Drupal.
I mainly design & develop websites but I also occasionally work on print, branding and other small projects.
My Skills:
I try my best to follow web standards and best practices when developing websites and to make them user-friendly and accessible.
